Aperture Artistry
Erin was looking at the website of our photographer from the wedding and found this. Needless to say we were thrilled. I sent them an email saying how neat we thought it was that it was there and he said that everyone liked that one and that they had a copy of it hanging in their studio!
More pictures have been posted from when we traveled out here as well as what our place looked like before we had really any furniture. Take a look.

Honeymoon
Here I am on my honeymoon, pictures will be up on the website after I get back because there's no internet access in the rooms!!! Can't believe it, the rooms are so nice and unless you have dialup access you can't get online in the rooms so you have to use the 15 minutes/per login in the internet lounge they have. BUMMER!!
Anyways, back to having fun on our honeymoon. See ya!!!!

April Showers
It's ironic that Erin's bridal shower would be held in April... you know the old saying "April showers..." It was this past Saturday and while my dad and I were out watching a movie at an IMAX theater, Erin was busy chatting with Aunts, Grandmothers, cousins, and friends at her shower; she also opened a bunch of gifts from them for her and I to start our new life together with.
It was a lot of fun to hang out with my dad, it would have been better if my brother hadn't stood us up, or at least called and said he didn't want to go. We instead continued to wonder where he was and what he was doing.
Anyway, despite the dreary weather (i.e. rain all day) we had a good time. I did get to chat with my grandmother and one of my friends who stayed after everyone had pretty much left. That was really nice, I hadn't seen her since her wedding at the end of July last year.
I'm getting really anxious for Erin and my wedding, it's not that long off now, but there are still a few loose ends to tie-up: limos, honeymoon, wedding night accommodations, final dj meeting, final photographer meeting, finalize flowers, erin's final dress fitting, and I'm sure there are a few more things; I just can't think of them.

Countdown...5...4...3...
Wedding plans are starting to come together. We have a photographer (finally); we have a DJ; we have a florist; we have a baker; we have a reception location; invitations have been mailed; the rehearsal dinner is planned; we have a church; we have the tuxes picked out. What we don't have yet is somewhere for Erin and I to stay the night of the wedding, we don't have transportation to/from the church and reception yet; we don't have the flowers decided on yet, we'll do that next week; we don't know how big the cake is going to be because we don't have the final guest total, we also don't have a cake topper.
Tonight we'll be going to the DJ service and finalizing the deal, handing them a check for the deposit and talking with them to get exactly what we want and go over the timeline of events. Erin discovered a cool thing by checking our registries online; she found out what things people have already bought for us!!!! It's so cool to see what you're going to get before you get it because then you're anticipating when it will come or when you'll get it. It's also exciting to see that you're getting stuff you asked for so you know you'll like it! :)

Mmmmmm... Food
So, following quick on the heels of that last entry; here's another one.
Erin and I will be picking up cake samples from the bakery tomorrow afternoon, then heading to the golf course for a lunch tasting to decide final menu choices for the reception. I can't wait!
Monday I will be looking at tuxes, if you're in the wedding party expect to hear something from me in the next week or so as to where and what the tuxes are and how you'll need to get set for that.

Coming Together
Well Erin's and my plans are starting to get completed. Slowly, but steadily. We have a photographer, we have dresses, we have tuxes (almost), we have invitations (almost), we've got our rings, we have a church, we have a reception location, the rehearsal dinner is decided, the shower is being planned, and we have an officiant. That still leaves: flowers, music, food choices, lodging, transporation arrangements, honeymoon, bachelor dinner, the ceremony details (music, order, etc.).
